Create a new project in Descript and type out or paste in your script in the text editor. Line up your Descript window with your camera so you can look at both the camera and script as you read.
Hit the Record icon to pop open the recording modal. Choose the inputs you want to record: your camera, microphone, and/or screen. Select Record into script to replace your script with a transcript that’s synced with your recording.
Cut, correct, and trim your transcript to edit your video and delete bad takes by hitting backspace. You can also right-click filler words and long gaps to remove them in one click. To get your eyes to point at the camera instead of your script, select your recorded video and apply the Eye Contact AI effect.
