How to equalize audio to achieve the perfect sound

1Upload your video or audio file
Start by creating a new video or audio project and dragging the files you want to upload. Descript supports WAV, MP3, AAC, AIFF, M4A, and FLAC audio files, as well as many popular video formats. Select an audio track to edit and go to Audio effects in the properties panel on the right.
2Adjust the EQ of your audio tracks for the sound you want
Click the + icon and choose an audio equalization effect to start with, such as EQ for a parametric equalizer to make granular sound edits, graphic EQ to adjust the gain of specific frequency bands, high-pass and low-pass filters to boost or cut sounds under or above a certain frequency—to name a few. You can then click on the Settings icon to customize the frequency, gain, and bandwidth settings yourself, or select presets like “Vocal Limit - Bass” based on the EQ type.
3Preview and export
Play back your audio to hear how it sounds and once you’re happy with the sound settings you’ve applied, you can either finish the editing process in Descript, Or go to Publish > Export to download your file as an AAC, WAV, or MP3 audio file.
