Create a new project in Descript where you can start recording a new video or import an existing video by dragging and dropping. Once it’s uploaded, the video is automatically transcribed and you can edit the text to edit your video if you need to.
The fastest way to add an image to specific moments in your video is to highlight the text and paste it in from your clipboard, or press CMD/CTRL+K to use the Actions menu to add a new layer. You can either upload your own images, or search Descript's extensive stock media library of images, photos, and GIFs.
Once you’ve added images to your video, you can resize and adjust them in the canvas. Add music, sound effects, and anything else you want, then click Publish to export your video, publish it directly to YouTube, or share and embed it anywhere as a web link.
